some snippets of my first unpublished picture book “My circus dream”, created during my MA in 2022

A girl, who had to leave her home and is on a journey towards an uncertain future has a dream, where she finds herself in a world of circus. While meeting the juggler, the acrobats, the trapeze artist, the tightrope walker or the clown, she can escape her worries but also receives the strength she needs to step into the unknown. As a silent and steady companion, the moon too has an important part to play.

This story of uncertainty, hope and wonder explores the healing potential of circus skills.
